There are a few other noteworthy features that can be found at this park, including a tidbit for the kids – a dinosaur fossil. The most exciting thing about this park is that it’s the only one in the area to allow families with pets to play together. The park also has a surprisingly large number of trees, making it a great spot for kids to enjoy some shade. The park also has the most impressive lighted tree in town. Baseball Fields

The baseball fields at Marucci Memorial Park South Blvd Spring Lake NJ are a favorite among the kids. This large public park is located in the North End of town across from Lake Como and offers a large playground, basketball, tennis, pickleball and soccer courts.

Mayor Frank Marucci was one of the first to buy this property and preserve it as a public park. He had a love for Spring Lake and wanted to keep it a quiet town where people could live in peace and enjoy the natural gifts of the lake and mountains.

He was very active in his community and served on several committees during his term as Councilman. He also helped to veto some proposals that could have negatively affected our town.

He was a lifelong resident and devoted family man who loved Spring Lake and the lake. He devoted over two decades of service to the Borough and left a mark on many residents and the community at large. Browse around this site.

Tennis Courts

Located in the North End of Spring Lake across the street from Lake Como, Marucci Memorial Park boasts a few fun & interesting features including 2 lighted ball fields (balloons are not included), basketball court and a well maintained park. There are also some flora & fauna to keep you occupied.

The most impressive feature of the park is probably the opulently themed gazebo containing one of the most elaborate water fountains in town. The other big draw is the multi-level outdoor pool.

The park also boasts an ode to the history of the city of Spring Lake and includes a museum dedicated to its colorful past. The park is a must for visitors and locals looking to stretch their legs while taking in the beautiful views of the lake or enjoying some down time after a hard day at work. The park also features a small playground and a paved path that leads to the most significant landmark of all – a reconstructed Victorian style mansion which dates back to the 19th century.

The playground at Marucci Memorial Park South Blvd Spring Lake NJ is a great spot for kids of all ages. It features separate courts for basketball, tennis and soccer as well as little league baseball games.

In addition to the playground, the park also has 3 lighted baseball fields and picnic area. The park is a favorite amongst families with children, and there are plenty of open spaces to walk your dogs.

This park was named after Frank Marucci, a Spring Lake native and a devoted member of our community for over 70 years. He was a dedicated public servant and a tireless advocate for the improvement of Spring Lake.

He served as Mayor for a total of 16 years and is the last Spring Lake mayor who still lives in town. He was a strong, guiding force that saw our town through many contentious issues and natural disasters. He was loved and respected by the people of Spring Lake. More.
